There’s nothing unique about Studio Ghibli in OpenAI’s new image generator. They didn’t “turn on Ghibli” while keeping all other artistic styles off-limits. A spokesperson wrote, “We continue to prevent generations in the style of individual living artists, but we do permit broader studio styles.” For instance here’s a raccoon in the style of HR Giger.

A ChatGPT conversation. The prompt reads, "Please draw a raccoon in the style of HR Giger." The response reads "Image created," and attached is an image of a raccoon rendered in dark grays with a ribbed exoskeleton-looking body.

Again, this doesn’t make any of this OK, but this isn’t a deliberate, targeted attack against Miyazaki’s for his harsh words against AI.
